Henry Frank Lambracht, Sr.
July 7, 1927 – July 16, 2023
Henry Frank Lambracht, Sr. Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather.
Henry lived a full and storied life, that touched so many. He will be missed by all. Born in Lansing 7-7-1927 to the late Henry E and Katherine (Heil) Lambracht, Henry became a world traveler by age 4 where he met his uncle Johann E Lambracht who soon became his new father. He was raised in Germany before returning to the US at 21.
A veteran of WWII, and a few years later of the Korean conflict. He later trained to become a machinist, working as tool and die maker for Olofsson Tool and Die for over 43 years, until his retirement 8/1/1992. Henry was a member of the Liederkranz Club of Lansing and the UAW. Henry was an accomplished pianist, and accordion player, he spent many hours entertaining family and friends. Music was so much a part of him, he could draw it in and send it back out as easily as breathing, and was often heard whistling as he worked. He also loved woodworking, camping, fishing, scuba diving, and gardening.
He is survived by his beloved companion of 16-plus years, Ute Ferreira; his children: Cassandra “Sandy” Heimbecker, Henry (Leigh Ann) Lambracht, Jr., Kenneth (Shawn) Lambracht, and Lisa (Larry Brown) Lambracht; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and his sister, H. Irene Bondarenko /Leah Rodgers /Kyra/Vance Bondarenko).
Henry was preceded in death by his parents: fathers Henry E Lambracht, Johann E Lambracht, Katherine H. (Heil) Lambracht; beloved wife, Mona D (Lamoreaux) Lambracht; and his brother-in-law, Hank Bondarenko.

July 23, 2023 at 8:13 amWe are so sorry to hear of your dads passing. A funny thing i remember is our kids used to climb our fence and grab all the cherries in your tree. Your dad would come out and tell them to be careful of the worms in the cherries. We will miss chatting with him before he moved. We have lost a good neighbor. God bless your family .
