Harry W. Lewis

Age 87, of Lansing, went to be with the Lord on October 13, 2010.

He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Navy, and spent the greater part of his life as a Boy Scout executive. Harry was an avid golfer.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Shirley.  Surviving are:  son, Barry (Martha) Lewis; daughter, Gail (Dan) Shafer-Crane; 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Ginny Ritter.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2010, at All Saints Episcopal Church, 800 Abbot Rd., East Lansing, with Pastor Kit Carlson officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scouts of America or Hospice of Lansing, Inc.  Arrangements by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.
