September 4, 2024 at 4:12 pmHalen was a remarkable woman who very much loved her husband and her family… especially her grandchildren. She truly made a difference in my life as she encouraged me to reach for the stars and showered the world with endless smiles and kindness. I will miss her so very much.

September 11, 2024 at 9:54 pmHave a happy memory of Charles and Halen on our cruise to Alaska. She was so excitable about everything. I couldn’t keep up with her. I would see them both socially at Delta Library often and Charles was a great volunteer there. She sure loved her dogs!!

September 27, 2024 at 7:14 pmI first met Halen at South Baptist Church in 1980. It wasn’t long before I befriended her son, Bruce, and lived practically every other weekend at her house until I left for college, a beneficiary of her love and gracious hospitality. She always treated me like a son, even long after I had achieved adulthood. She was, in a genuine way, my Foster mother. I do miss you…
Happy Birthday in Heaven, Halen.
