I don’t even know what to say. She took care of me as a baby. My parents knew her longer than me. And then later in my life my parents, Rich and Lydia Ostrander and I reconnected when we realized we attended the same church. We shared many jokes, stories, laughter, and great memories in the kitchen at RCCN making rolls and more. You will be greatly missed my friend. By all of us. Prayers for you Ray and all your children and family. We love you. Please let us know if you need anything.

We are shocked to read this. She and Ray were cousins, but we remember many good times together. Mark, especially, enjoyed a long trip with Wayne to Colorado a few years ago. Enjoyed Geri’s Facebook articles. And when we moved north we saw them all the time at Camp Meeting in Manton, and other District meetings. We will pray for her family.

We will always remember Gerrie’s wit. She could pull anybody’s leg with her “lateral thinking” jokes. We were treated to her wonderful cooking and, when times were tough, her motherly kindness. We sat together at Sparrow Hospital on Jane’s last day on this earth. Gerrie’s faith helped her weather any storm, and by example helped us to, as well. Gerrie is now in the glorious company of her Lord, and for that, in spite of our grief, we can rejoice.

Aunt Geri will be greatly missed!
She was kind, loving, and used her gifts to bless others. I remember the Raggedy Ann and Andy that she made for when I was little, I loved them even more because she had made them for me. At my wedding reception she took a rose from my bouquet home with her to try to start a rose bush for me. Her cooking was delicious too!
It’s a comfort to know that she is rejoicing in Heaven with Jesus, Jane Ann, my dad, and her parents who preceded her!
Sending my love and prayers to Uncle Ray and the rest of the Jenks family.
Tami

Aunt Gerri will be sorely missed. She was someone you could count on to be in your corner even when she didn’t agree with you. She was always up for a good joke or prank. If she knew I was coming for a visit she would make sure she made her special Mac and cheese for me with fresh rolls. She was ready to give her time and talents for her God. You will be missed Scooby Doo.

Raymond & family
I am so sorry for your loss!
Camp just won’t be the same without your
lovely wife. It was sad to see her in such pain this summer. She is healed – you are in my thoughts and prayers. It is not an easy road but you and God can do it together.
