Gerald Lee Whitaker

52 went to heaven on Friday, July 10, 2015, after a long illness.    He was a retired truck driver.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Alice; and brother, David.  He is survived by his wife, Melissa; sister, Brenda; father and mother-in-law; sister-in-law, brother-in-law; two nieces; three nephews; lots of aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, with interment to follow in North Aurelius Cemetery.  His family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service on Tuesday.
