Vern was very close to my Mom, Anne, and those he served with at Central United Methodist Church and our community lunch. We lost touch as Mom moved to Dobie…but he was always close in heart. Central is thrilled to have Vern’s painting of our building hanging outside our sanctuary. May your memories of Vern bring you peace.

Vern was a friend of my mother’s. She always enjoyed working with him on the Fellowship lunches at church. I was surprised and blessed when Vern presented my wife and I with one of his paintings for a wedding present! It is on the wall of our family room. Godspeed Vern!
