Florence A. Kendall

Age 101, of Lansing, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2019.  She was born in  Blanchard, Michigan, October 5, 1918.  Florence was energetic, spirited and always entertaining.  She loved spending time with her siblings and many nieces and nephews.

Florence was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Myrlin; many brothers and sisters; niece, Sharlean Massman; and lifelong friend, June Hueslman.  She is survived by:  brother, Max (Phyllis) Krouse; sisters, Marlene Ballard, Mona Jean Bass and Martha (Lee) Anderson; nephew-in-law, Roger Massman; nephew, Bill (Elaine) Bayes as well as many other nieces and nephews.  She was especially close to her great-nieces, Shalimar (Bob) Maynard, Leesa Massman and her “niece of the heart” Lee Ann Foreback.  Her faithful and devoted companion, “Buffy” the cat will miss her terribly.  She enjoyed a long life well lived.

A gathering in honor of Florence will be held at the mausoleum chapel at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Lansing, beginning at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2019, with an informal service at 12:30 p.m.
