F. Marie Gierman

Age 85, passed away August 5, 2011.  She was born September 18, 1925, in Lansing.  Marie was a member of First United Methodist Church of Grand Ledge. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul in 1999; and brother, Virgil Warren; her parents and one grandson.  Surviving are:  5 children, Lynne (Dan) Wright, Laurie (John) Fitch, Debra (Steven) Cutshaw, Rhonda (Richard) Grant, and Jill (David) Whitmore; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Dee Warren;

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2011, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, with Fr. Bill Lugger officiating.  Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until service time Monday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eaton Community Hospice in memory of Marie Gierman.
