Eva F. Butler

Age 89, of Holt, Michigan, passed away on December 4th, 2019. Eva was born in Lansing, Michigan, to Arthur and Ethel Post, on May 20th, 1930. She would eventually marry William Butler, and they would enjoy 56 years of marriage together. During this time, Eva enjoyed cross-stitching, quilting, knitting, and crocheting. For a while, she took in ironing work to make extra money.

Eva is survived by her children, Ruth (Ken) King and David Butler; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Jerry (Sandra) Post and Arthur (Joanne) Post, Jr.; and sisters, Sandy (Richard) Sewell and Joyce Emmons.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William; brothers, Ron and Barry Post; and her sister, Linda Post.

Family will welcome guests from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. Interment will follow at Deepdale Memorial Gardens. Contributions in her name may be made to charities of one’s own choice.
