Eugene “Gene” Betz

Age 67, passed away July 30, 2021. He was born May 6, 1954, in St. Johns, Michigan. Gene retired from General Motors, where he worked as a Metal Finisher.  He enjoyed his gardens, both inside and outside.

Surviving are: his wife of 43 years, Michele; children, Nakia Betz and Alicia (Nicholas) Hummel; grandchildren, Alexander and Alydia Hummel; and his mother, Rita Betz.  Gene was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Betz.

There will be no public service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan.
