Rest now my wonderful friend. You were always such a fun and gracious woman! Our autumn trip to the U.P. several years ago remains one of my best memories! What fun we had! You taught me so much and I will miss your laughter, your listening ear and ability to make others feel better. Dick – you and your family are in my prayers as you travel through this valley of sorrow. Elaine is rejoicing with her Lord and laughing with Cleo – they are both pain-free and dancing in the heavens! Blessings for this day.

Surely there is another angel on a shining star in Heaven. Elaine always demonstrated a devotion and implicit love for her husband and fine family; courage; goodness; respect and esteem for others; and, maintained an abounding faith in God. The gates of Heaven will certainly welcome Elaine into eternal life where pressed into service she can continue her high moral standard, nobel character, spiritual gifts, and precious inner beauty that enriches everyone who has the distinct opportunity to come to know her.

Till we meet again,
Pat Buggia

Your wonderful spirit and joyous heart will always be with us. Your love for Christ inspired many of us at CHI, giving me a stonger desire to follow in the footsteps of our Lord Jesu. I will always remember you my good and loving friend.
Love and blessings to Dick and the rest of the family.

“Precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of His saints.” Elaine is healed of her terrible disease and she is now celebrating with her Savior. Elaine, you have completed the race and have heard God say, “Well done.” We will see you again someday. Our prayers are with Dick and Clint and Blake and their families, as well as the rest of the family. May God give you peace and the joy of knowing that Elaine is rejoicing with those who have gone before her, and that there will be a great reunion someday.

We are sorry we will not be able to come to visitation (we are leaving on Friday to see Jake before he deploys) but we are thinking of you and your family. You and Elaine were always amongst our favorite clients and we sure will miss her sweet personality!

Aunt Elaine,
I can picture you now dancing with the Angels in Heaven. God shared one of his best creations with our friends and family and for that we are grateful. Your spirit will continue to live through our cherished memories and in our hearts. We are blessed to have had the chance to experience her laughter, positive attitude, and her love for helping people. Even in the face of death till the very end she wanted nothing but to help everyone else around her. She was always ready to take that walk into the arms of the lord when her time came, it just saddens our hearts to see her go so soon.

I pray for the healing of pain and loss that the closest ones to her will endure. Only together will we get through these sad times and only through our lord Jesus Christ will we see her again. And we will see you again.

We will always Love You!!

When we were able to get together we always shared deeply of our lives. You’ve been a friend I will always treasure. You always would ask about the kids I work with and your heart reached out to them. We always encouraged each other with where we were at in each of our lives and I always walked away from our encounters feeling encouraged. I watched you suffer these last few months and yet carry such dignity. In the end you still cared about others. I will miss you but am thankful for the hope that we will see each other again. I am thankful for the friendship that we were able to have. I love you. Debby

Jan remembers when you worked with the Vacation Bible School (VBS) children in which one of your children was not able to attend on a day when picture frames were going to be made, so you made one together. Jan remembers asking you “how are you doing?” in which you replied “I am doing great, how are you?” This revealed you thought more of other people than yourself. Jan will never forget your thoughtfulness toward others and the fun you had making the frame. We are very thankful and blessed to have you and Richard as neighbors, friends, and members of the family through Christ our Lord and Savior. Jan will always remember and charish making the picture frame together. You are now God’s hands. May you and your family be blessed in all ways possible.

Your Neighbors in Christ,
Bob and Jan Skabic

Steve and I are deeply saddened to learn of Elaine’s passing. She had a smile that always was so sincere, and her love of the Lord and God’s people was so obvious.
She was a faithful follower of Jesus, and there is no doubt that she is now in HIS presence, healed completely.
Please know your family will be uplifted in prayer. May HE give you strength and comfort as you lean on HIM now and always.
With our sympathy, Nancy and Steve Sandstedt

My deepest condolences to the entire Ranshaw family. Take comfort in knowing that Elaine is smiling down from Heaven on all of her loved ones. She was a woman of great faith, and in the few times I was able to speak with her I always walked away thinking, I had never met anyone as genuinely kind-hearted and warm as Elaine.

I will be praying for God’s comfort during this difficult time (Matthew 11:28).

My deepest condolences go out to the Ranshaw family. I am feeling bad because I could not be there with you on this sad day. My vehicle is in the shop. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. She was a wonderful person and a great neighbor. Although you were to Dick. I miss you and her very much. She was a great fighter and a wonderful friend. I remember when she was so sick she was baking my kids and I cookies and meals. I love her and she will always be in my heart. She was amazing all the way around. Love you all even though you dont know me all to well. It is what I heard from her that makes me love. God Bless. Sara

Elaine ran her race. Now she will hear the words well done good and faithful servant. She is a special lady and encouragement to many including me. She always had a smile and time to listen. I can picture her with tears in her eyes as she meets her Savior Jesus. I rejoice for her. My prayers are with those left behind for the moment during this bitter sweet time. God bless and keep you in His loving care. May His grace surround you all.

My memories of Elaine are from our time in high school, as cheerleaders and bandmembers together. Elaine was always an outgoing and upbeat person who managed to brighten any situation. I would run into her sometimes on our mutual treks back to Charlevoix. I am very sorry to hear that she will no longer grace this earth with her cheerful smile and caring ways. My condolences to her sisters and family.

I rejoice for the joy she is experiencing in our Loving Saviors presence for eternity! What a woman of God, she truly let His light shine like a beacon in all the years I knew her. I praise the Lord that He allowed our paths to cross and we will be together in eternity! My heart aches for her dear husband and children and family for their loss. Praying the Lord will tenderly comfort them.
