Born July 12, 1916, to Maude and Ward Emmons of Weidman, Michigan, Edith passed away peacefully on December 1, 2017, at the blessed age of 101.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin, in 1981, and 5 brothers and 1 sister. She will forever be lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Joy Jean Hahn (Russ Hahn) of Wolverine, and Linda Jill Revis of Lansing; two grandchildren, Chad Burge (Dee Burge) of Mason, and Nicole Dungey (Larry Dungey) of Lansing; 4 great-grandchildren, Jacob Burge (Casey Emenhiser) of Mason, Anthony Burge (Morgan Burge) of Ohio, Peyton Dungey of Lansing, and Jessica Burge of Ohio; along with one great-great-granddaughter, Paityn Burge (Jacob & Casey).

Edith was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Sister and friend. Everyone she came in contact with was impacted by her kind, gentle spirit and she will be greatly missed by her family.  We can only imagine what it will be like, to be with you again in Heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The family would like to thank the staff at Bay Bluffs in Harbor Springs, Michigan, for their wonderful and compassionate care, over the last four years.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel in Holt, Michigan. A graveside service will follow in East Lawn Memory Gardens in Okemos, Michigan.  Her family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon Wednesday until service time.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Edith M. Revis.
