Dorothy was a wonderful lady and the best next-door neighbor a person could ask for. I enjoyed my many visits with her, chatting over a cup of her wonderful tea and hearing about the history of our neighborhood. She was so very proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and never hesitated to tell me how proud she was of each and every one of them. I shall miss her so very much but know she is at peace and is now with her beloved Tom once again.

I’m so sad to hear of Dorothy’s passing. Our friendship dates back to the Student Service office in the Lansing School District. After I retired and moved north we continued to stay in contact. I was always glad to hear about the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was so proud of all of you. Always loved her long, newsy letters. She was a wonderful gal who will be missed by so many.
