Dorothy Irene Hospodor

Age 93, of Holt, MI, passed away July 23, 2014.  She was born August 10, 1920, in Fowlerville, Michigan, to Charles and Hazel Gardenhouse.  Dorothy was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, and the Liederkranz Club.  She worked for many years as a bookbinder at Wagenvoord & Riegel Bookbinders. She loved to travel, go to the lake, and the casino.

Surviving are: her husband of 66 years, Frank Hospodor; children: Sherry (Gilbert) Boettcher, and Robert (Pat) Holt; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and a very special and dear friend, Ginny Dymond.  She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Joan and Stephanie of Hospice Advantage.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 28, 2014, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, with Pastor Michael C. Bater officiating, interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the Chapel from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 27th.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church or American Cancer Society.
