Sorry to read about Doris – she had been a dear life-long friend (since Eastern High School) to Dick’s mother, the late Edna Bogert Pulford. Our condolences in this time of sorrow.

Reading about Beedor Creations at the City Market brought back sweet memories. Doris and Beverly opened their stand across the aisle from mine, Graham’s Natural Foods (a.k.a. The Nut Lady). They brought beauty and style to the Market with their personalities and sophisticated flower arrangements. They uplifted our whole corner of the Market!

I was surprised to learn that Doris was 98 years old. Thought she was much younger during those market years, probably because of her smile, her energy, and how hard she and Beverly worked.
