Donna Joan Waterhouse
Age 96, of Holt, Michigan, passed away of natural causes on Sunday July 11, 2021. Donna was born on June 5, 1925 in Royal Oak, Michigan. She lived most of her young adult life in Algonac, Michigan, before settling in Mason. She was passionate about her volunteer work with the Special Olympics and enjoyed golfing, bowling, and playing cards. She was a fierce family woman, and radiated pride in her loved ones.
Donna’s beautiful life will be forever cherished in the lives of her family: her son, Don (Jane) Waterhouse; son-in-law, Lee Bambusch; grandchildren, Sam (Gina) Lewis, Buddy Lewis, Bradford (Lauren) Bambusch, Brooke (David) Felger; and five great-grandchildren, Jacob, Sarah, Joe, Miles, and Charles, who brought immense joy to her life.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, George Waterhouse, and her beloved daughter Lynn Bambusch.
There will be no service.
Memorial contribution may be made in her honor to the American Legion, Post 238 in Holt, MI, of which she was an auxiliary member. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.

July 19, 2021 at 8:14 pmShe always made me feel warm & welcome, from very first time in met her as an idiot pre teen, to an idiot Dad. She never missed one of Jake’s holidays, birthdays, or anything. That made him feel so special, and loved. I love her she much for that alone. RIP Grandma W, you were the best.
