Mama was born on January 5, 1938, to Clayton and Norma Watson. At the age of 79, she passed away on November 27, 2017.

If Mama were here, she would be delighted by all the attention, love, and family gatherings going on at the little yellow house on Chestnut St. in Holt.

Mama loved the color yellow, flowers of any kind, her children, grandchildren, and especially those great-grandbabies, all of them being her greatest joys in her life.

Mama is survived by her loving 3 daughters, who never minded her very well, as well as 3 sons-in-law, who she always tried to feed: Teresa (Jerry) Ward of Leslie, Julane (John) Watson of Laingsburg, and Michelle (Ken) Pulford of Holt; 11 adored grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren who brought her such great joy; brothers, Gary (Bonnie) Watson and Dale (Joyce) Watson; and many nieces and nephews.

Mama couldn’t wait to join our Dad in heaven. We can imagine them holding each other and dancing the days away. Although our parents are gone, we will cherish each and every memory of our lives well lived and well loved at the little yellow house on Chestnut St. in Holt, and all those who gathered there, and the beautiful, stubborn, bossy, and most absolutely adored Mama who ran the show.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. Her family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Sparrow Home Hospice.
