Donna Mae Granger
May 3, 1936 – December 18, 2024
On December 18, Donna Mae Granger went to her eternal home, where she will enjoy her most glorious Christmas ever!
Donna was born on May 3, 1936, at her home in Perry, Michigan, to Lester and Lena Mae Antcliff. At the age of six, she survived a tornado. The family later moved to Eaton Rapids, where Donna graduated from Eaton Rapids High School in 1954.
At age 16, while driving around Eaton Rapids in her WWII jeep, Donna spotted a handsome city boy from Lansing who later became her husband and the love of her life.
Faith, family and service to others were cornerstones of Donna’s life. As a teenager, she became a Christian, dedicating herself to growing and living out her faith. Her commitment to her faith was evident in how she lived her life—always putting the needs of others first, lending a listening ear to those seeking her advice and delighting in knowing and memorizing scripture.
Donna is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Ron; four children, Ronda (Randy) Russ, Brent (Cheryl) Granger, Heather (Steve) Lintemuth and Keith (Lisa) Granger; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and brothers-in-law, Alton and Jerry Granger. She is preceded in death by her only sibling, Gary Antcliff and sisters-in-law, Jan Granger and Lynne Granger.
Visitation is Friday, December 20, 2024, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. The funeral service will be held at South Church, 5250 Cornerstone Drive, Lansing at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 21, 2024, with lunch immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to South Church or Hospice of Lansing at 3411 Stoneleigh Dr., Lansing, MI 48910.
