Born March 1, 1925, to the late Fred and Beryl Jenks in Lansing, Michigan. She went home to her heavenly Father on January 11, 2017, with her loving nieces and nephews at her side. She was a wonderful daughter, wife, sister, aunt and friend to all and will be sadly missed.
Donna was preceded in death by her dear husband Jack, her siblings and their spouses, her in-laws and many friends.
She is survived by 16 nieces and nephews and their families and some very dear friends who loved her and will miss her so very much.
There will be no funeral service or visitation. At a date to be determined, her ashes will be buried with her dear husband Jack’s at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.

January 15, 2017 at 4:13 pmMy memories of Donna are when I was growing up on Magnolia Street. Her and Jack lived next door to my grandma Kelly and I lived a few house down from them. As I became a young teenager I use to sit on Donna’s steps along with Donna Cortright and tell them all my troubles. Donna even done my hair a few times. She was one of the nicest women I had ever met. I have always remembered her as a fun loving and caring person. I’m 67 now and will never forget her or Jack. Rest in peace Donna and my heartfelt condolences to her family.
