Donna Marie Hall
Lansing, Michigan. Born January 6, 1929, in Lansing, Michigan daughter of the late Jesse and Mary Ann “Annie” (Cleeves) Ritchey passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at age 93.
Surviving are her children, Bryan (Sharon) Hall and Larry (Jeanette) Hall; grandchildren, Thomas (Deborah) DeWitt, Laurie Wilson, Bradley J. (Traci) Hall, Jeff (Stefani) Hall, James (Sami) Hall, Ken Hall, Lisa Marie Williams, and Barbara Hall along with many great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne R. Hall; her son, Kenneth Hall and 8 siblings.
Donna was born and raised in Lansing and lived her entire life in Lansing. She was a former active member of the Lansing Seventh Day Adventist Church and more recently the Grand Ledge Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was a 2-time cancer survivor. Donna worked for the Michigan State Police, the Lansing Public School District Board of Education and retired from the State of Michigan, Department of Natural Resources. She enjoyed wintering if Arizona with her husband, spending time with family, camping, dogs, and was an avid crafter – especially making dolls.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, 325 W. Washtenaw St., Lansing, MI 48933. Private Burial will follow. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Donna may be made to the Grand Ledge Seventh Day Adventist Church or the American Cancer Society.
