Donald Frank Magyar

Holt, Michigan.  Born April 19, 1937 in Davison, Michigan son of the late Frank and Marie Magyar passed away Monday, February 1, 2022 at age 84.

Don is survived by his 4 sons, Steven Magyar, Jeff (Sharon) Magyar, Pat Magyar, and Chris Magyar; step-son, Mike Hawkins; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara (Jerry) Smith along with three nephews and their families and many other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Magyar; son, Michael Magyar, daughter-in-law, Kelly Magyar; brother, Tom Magyar; step-daughter-in-law, Sandy Hawkins and his ex-wife, Peggy Dimick.

Don was a graduate of Lansing Sexton High School, served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and retired from the City of Lansing Public Works Department.  After retirement, he bought a house in Kalkaska, Michigan and loved his time there.  He also enjoyed being a snowbird in both Texas and Florida.

Per his wish, cremation will take place and no service will be held at this time. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.
