Don Caudell was one of those men that I will always remember in my life. He was a friendly, talented, smart, gracious, wise, fun loving, caring family man. I first met Don in the early 1970’s working with MDOT at the old Motor Wheel Building and then moving out to the Secondary Complex. He always was kind and mentoring to me and I held him in the highest esteem to this very day. He was a role model that was worthy to emulate. Don ran the Machine Shop and he and his crew could build anything. He ran a “tight ship” in that Machine Shop and was respected by all. After his retirement the Machine Shop was never the same again. Yes Don Caudell touched my life in a positive way and I will never forget him. My heartfelt condolences to his family. Rest in Peace.

I will miss Uncle Don very much. I loved going to” Uncle Dons cabin” in the summers with my Grandparents and cousins. We had so much fun! I loved listening to his stories and he gave great hugs! RIP. Love Chantelle Hubbard

Helen:
My deepest sympathies for you and your family! I have such wonderful memories of the two of you during our years together at First Pres in Cadillac. Don was so kind and patient and one of my most favorite people of all time (as are you)! I would so like to be there with you on Monday, but I’m out of town. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Well done good and faithful servant ….. God’s peace for your rest!!
