I met Denny through my brother-in-law, Bob Hutchins they let me join their motorcycle club because I was the only one that had tattoos at the time he was known as the road Buddha because he would plan everything out for the trips that I went on with him. Great guy he will surely be missed and go green.

Denny was a great friend and outstanding person . I worked with him for 14 years and rode with him for 15. We had some great times traveling all over the US together. Will miss his friendship and his humor.
My deepest condolences to the Fosburg family. It’s been a tough year for you.

Dennys a great guy, we go way back. He has been a great friend. Went to the 1988 rose bowl game as MSU beat USC! That was a pretty awesome trip. We also met for lunch, and always had some good laughs. I considered Denny a good friend, and great co-worker. He taught me allot about manufacturing, and the quoting process along with so many other things! RIP my friend

So sorry to hear of Denny’s passing and of course of his beloved wife’s as well awhile back. Denny was one of my first employees at Harvath’s Shell Service in Charlotte Mi. back in the middle 1970s. Such a great guy and wonderful trusted person and employee. He nicknamed me “4By” and I nicknamed him “2By” because I had a 4whl drive Ford pickup and he had a 2 whl drive Ford pickup! We did a lot of dirt biking back in the day and him, Carol, myself, and my wife ran around quite a bit. So many good times and laughs and Denny always had my back. It was a long drive every day for him to come to Charlotte and I knew I would eventually lose him as an employee because of it but not as a friend. We stayed in touch for sometime but strayed apart as months and years passed. Miss you Denny, enjoy more time with Carol! Prayers for your family.

When I first started at PWAA in 2013 as a young 20 something kid, Denny’s tough exterior scared the crap out of me. But after a few times of him reminding me that my failure to plan does not constitute an emergency for him, and some other sage advice that I still live by, we became good friends. After a year or so of working together, I bought my first house. When I was commiserating with Denny about the chore of mowing the lawn and my lack of a lawn mower, Denny said “I got one for ya”. The next day Denny brought me his retired lawnmower, as he had just bought a new one. When I thanked him and asked how much he wanted for it, “a six pack” was all he said. Denny had a heart of gold and I will always remember him.

Denny and his wife Carol are neighbors of mine for over twelve years. Denny was one of my best neighbors, friendly and welcoming, talk at the mailbox. I liked watching him ride out on his motorcycle or in his vehicle and he would wave. He gave Zeus, his much loved dog, lots of attention and time, told me there was a house full of toys for Zeus. Denny was a person I could discuss current events, neighborhood and township situations like the 2025 drain issue, about Zeus, and my home improvement projects. Seeing him sit outdoors reading and watching Zeus made me smile and I will miss looking over and not seeing him there; miss our talks. Thank you Denny for giving me some of your time over the years.

I knew Denny through American Legion post 238 and a Sportsmans club. He was always such a good guy to be around, low-key, smart , in short, a guy you were proud and honored to call your friend. I will miss him.

I had the good fortune of sitting next to Denny the past few years at MSU basketball games. He was a die hard fan, but so much fun to be around in that environment. He was very gracious to my wife and kids as well, we were all shocked to hear of his passing. Basketball games just won’t be the same without him. Rest in peace, Denny, you will be tremendously missed.
