DeElda M. Whitehead
Age 61, of Dimondale, passed away March 10, 2011. She was born on December 7, 1949 in Lansing the daughter of Gottlieb and Amelia Doerr.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2011 at Mount Hope Church, 202 S. Creyts Rd., Lansing, MI with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Dimondale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gilead Healing Center, 306 S. Creyts Rd., Lansing, MI 48917 or to Mount Hope Church, 202 S. Creyts Rd., Lansing, MI 48917 for Anna’s Home for Widows and Caleb’s Retirement Village.

Hope and Dee would be sitting there with such a proud look on her face when Amanda would be singing. She was such a great person. My heart goes out to the family at this time. She is dancing in her Father’s arms now and what joy she is experiencing. We will all be reunited with our loved ones – what a GLORIOUS day that will be.
