Dearest Betty and Children,
We are saddened for the loss of your wonderful husband, David, and loving father to Nora, Stephen and Marc. Our memories are only good ones…of his intelligence, his kindness, his gentle nature and bright smile. Having known him since childhood, he was a steady, dependable, and honest person. We will all miss him terribly. We know he fought bravely. May his memory be for a blessing to all of you.

Hi Betty,

So very sorry to hear of David’s passing.

We are family friends from Mt. Pleasant and close with the Simon family for many years. I grew up with David, Roger and Sharon and then our daughters Jen and Liz attended summer camp at Maple Hurst with your boys. As kids we golfed together at Alma CC, swam in their back yard pool, played hide and seek in the neighborhood and attended Bat Mitzvah parties together. These are just a few of my fond memories of a great guy who’s life was way too difficult and way too short!

My sincere sympathy is will all of you at this time.
