Dale E. Hissong
Age 88, of East Lansing, MI, passed away October 10, 2014. He was born July 28, 1926, in Trotwood, OH, son of the late Charles and Lydia Hissong.
Dale proudly served in the U.S. Army. He graduated from MSU and worked as a chemist for the U.S. Government. He belonged to the American Chemical Society and was a member of the Downtown Coaches Club.
He is survived by his sister, Eldonna Jackabon; several nieces and nephews; and good friends, Darlene and Robert Burgess and Becky and James Wolf. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 13, 2014, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Interment will follow in Deepdale Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice.

July 26, 2021 at 3:02 pmDale’s face and name just came to mind. I worked for him in Punch II at NCR in 1969. I can still see his smile. Patient, kind, and the list could go on, all good. I have had 2 exceptional bosses in my 55 yesrs of work, Dale was one of them.
