Age 91, of Lansing, MI, passed away December 26, 2015. She was born April 3, 1924, in Detroit, MI, to Joseph and Angela Gryczko.
Constance was a member of St. Mary Cathedral in Lansing. She attended St. Theresa School in Detroit, Siena Heights College in Adrian, MI, and went on to complete her bachelor’s degree at Detroit University. She was a research chemist for Parke-Davis. She enjoyed classical music and was a collector of antiquities and art. Connie liked to travel. She made a point of returning to the birth place of her parents, where she researched her family in Lithuania and Poland. Constance was a very honorable person and she took great care in looking after her family members and friends. She will be sorely missed.
She is survived by her cousins and many extended family members.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2016, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Interment will take place in St. John Catholic Cemetery in Jackson, MI. Her family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Advantage.
