Claudia J. Martin

Passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017 in Lansing. She was born November 18, 1956 in Lansing.

Claudia is survived by: her mother Shirley Pesch of Lansing; daughter, Hannah (Justin Longmire) Martin of Mt. Pleasant; brother, Duncan Morrow of Lansing; sister, Paula (Bob) Ryba of Churchill, TN; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by: her father, John Morrow; stepfather, Joseph Pesch, and grandmother, Thelma Dean.

Claudia had a job she loved, working at Right-at-Home, a home healthcare agency in Grand Ledge. She had a passion for collecting snowflakes, and wearing a different one each day during the month of December. She loved anything to do with the beach, and was a world traveler, living in both Australia and Alaska. Claudia will be remembered for the way she touched all people with her positive, uplifting attitude for life, resulting in countless long term friendships. Claudia will also be remembered by her family for their close relationships, and care she gave to family.

A Celebration of Life to remember Claudia will be held from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2017, at the Delta Community Center, 7550 West Willow Highway, Delta Township, MI 48917. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Sparrow Heart and Vascular Center. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.
