Clark C. Gorham

Age 95, of Dimondale, MI, passed away November 29, 2023. He was born December 27, 1927, in White Cloud, MI, to Charles and Theresa Gorham.

Clark retired after 42 years as a bricklayer. He could fix just about anything and there wasn’t much he couldn’t fix or repair. He enjoyed working in the garden with his wife, Kay, who was a master gardener. Clark was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dimondale. He also enjoyed racing cars and was, of course, good at fixing them too. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his significant other, and lifelong friend for over 50 years, Fran Adams; family friends, Kathy Schims, Alicia (Dominick) DeBello, and Carrie (Don) McDaniels, and Todd (Linda) Adams; and his two nieces. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Gorham; daughter, Kimberly; and siblings: twins Patricia and Charles, Frank, Ellie, Hope, Madeline, and George.

There will be no service. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lansing Stoneleigh Residence or the First Presbyterian Church of Dimondale.

Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.

He was a good, honest and decent man who loved the Lord. I am certain he is with Him and all his family and loved ones who have passed. He saved my house when it needed immediate repairs and I didn’t know where to turn for help.
I would not have a house if it weren’t for him.
I will miss our frequent Sunday afternoon chats and his always welcomed and wise advice.
Rest in peace precious uncle. You earned it.

Uncle Clark, a kind gentle soul. Last sibling from a large farming family in White Cloud, MI. Skilled, hard-working member of the building trades union working many years as a journeyman block layer. He also built many custom fireplaces around the Lansing area that will be used and enjoyed for many years to come. A dedicated, faithful, family man I am proud to call my uncle.
