Charles E. Williams

Age 87, of Okemos, MI, passed away November 28, 2017. He was born November 13, 1930, in Lansing, to the late Herbert and Bernidina Williams.

Charles graduated from Holt High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from MSU Custodial Services following 34 years of service. He was a life member of South Church and was a longtime supporter of Maranatha Bible Conference, which was his favorite place to visit.

He is survived by daughter, Carol (Mark) Feuss, grandchildren, Keith (Angela) Wright, Robert (Katey) Wright, Joshua Feuss, and Daniel Feuss; 4 great-grandchildren, Charlie and Evan, and Katelyn and Travis; sisters, Betty (Doug) Stimers and Marilyn Rudd; sister-in-law, Bonnie Williams; brothers-in-law, Robert (Eva) Beckon and Larry (Jean) Beckon; special friend, Pat Coven; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Williams; his wife, Bessie Morell-Williams; daughter, Diane Wright; and brother, Richard Williams.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 1, 2017, at South Church, 5250 Cornerstone Dr., Lansing. Interment will follow in East Lawn Memory Gardens in Okemos. His family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to South Church.
