Charles A. “Chuck” Romine

Age 93 of Holt, MI formerly of Battle Creek, MI, and New Haven, IN. Chuck passed away December 2, 2020. He was born July 1, 1927 to the late Charles and Ruby Null.

Chuck was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy; was a graduate of Northwestern University, and later became a Representative for the Federal Governments Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training, a job he loved very much. Chuck was loved very much by his family, and he dearly loved his family and friends, he will be missed by many.

He is survived by his two daughters: Vicky (Patrick) Stott, and Regina Ryckman; grandchildren: Marie, Randi, and Shannon; great grandchildren; Finn, Phoenix, Brayden, Kenzie, and Arya; siblings: Don Null, Jerry (Judy) Null, Gloria (Gaylord) Schowe, and Sharon Hedeen; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Betty Jean Romine, second wife Elizabeth Romine, a sister Clarabelle Hatton, and a son-in-law Tim Ryckman.

At a later date there will be a memorial service held at the Pennfield Presbyterian Church in Battle Creek, MI. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Pennfield Presbyterian Church 7979 St. Marys Lake Rd., Battle Creek, MI 49017. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.
