Charles R. “Chuck” Ellingson
Age 74, he was born January 13, 1947, in Decorah, Iowa. Chuck served in the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman, retiring from the Navy after 22 years. He spent his retirement in Lansing, Michigan, where he passed away November 9, 2021. Interment will take place at a later date in Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan. November 10, 2021 at 9:14 amChuck and I were boyhood friends since kindergarten and high school classmates. Though we haven’t seen each other in a long time, I will miss him and am saddened to know he is no longer with us. But, I expect to see him again in heaven. Our prayers are with Chuck’s family and friends. Thanks, Chief, for your service.
