Charles Bailey Gabbard

Holt, Michigan

Born December 18, 1930, in Blue Diamond, Kentucky, son of the late Jerry and Louetta (Angel) Gabbard, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at the age of 95.

Surviving are his children, Keith (Sue) Gabbard, Luann Gabbard, and Nora Kratz; grandchildren, Eric Gabbard, Jennifer Gabbard, Justin Kratz, Sydni Kratz, Nick (Jacqueline) Garbin, and Leslie Garbin; and great-grandson, Nicholas Garbin.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Gabbard; his daughter, Patty Garbin; and his son, Phil Gabbard.

Charles served in the US Air Force, was a kind and loving father who was devoted to reading the bible, and loved playing his guitar.  He worked in the field of electronics his whole life.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, 2121 Cedar St., Holt.  Interment will follow at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Holt.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday for 1 hour prior to the service.
