Cecelia J. Angel

Cecelia J. Angel passed away March 20, 2017 at the age of 90 years. She was born June 4, 1926 in Ashley, Michigan to Warren and Mamie Coon. Cecelia was a proud Spartan having graduated from Michigan State University with Bachelors and Masters degrees in Education. She was an educator in Michigan for over 30 years.

Cecelia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Philip Angel, her brothers Warren, Quentin and Kermit Coon as well as her sister Gloria Hall.  She is survived by her son Martin Tremblay (Robin) of Morriston, Florida as well as her grandchildren Allison and Christopher Tremblay. Additionally, she is survived by her brother-in-law Gary Hall and many, many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday March 27, 2017 at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Here family will receive friends and family at the funeral home from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or the American Heart Association in memory of Cecelia Angel.
