Catherine Marie Dunckel
Age 88, passed away December 8, 2013. She was born September 21, 1925, in Chester, PA, to Leo and Katherine Grace. Catherine was an RN in the neonatal department at St. Lawrence Hospital and was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church.
Surviving are: her husband, Roland Dunckel; 4 children, Jean (Ron) Lebbon, Maureen (Steve) Starr, Joe (Leigh) Dunckel and David (Paige) Dunckel; 9 grandchildren, Tanya Dunckel, Catherine (David) Kurt, Edward (Stacey) Lebbon, Jennifer (Brian) Janiskee, Frank (Erica) Quealy, Rachael (Robert) Thompson, Dustin (Caitlin) Dunckel, Sarah Esvan, and Jack Tufford; and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, James and Thomas Dunckel; sister, Margurite; and brother, Joe.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 345 Edwards St., Grand Ledge, with The Rev. Fr. James Eisele officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Catholic Charities Children’s Home in memory of Catherine Dunckel.
