Carol Lee Hardin

Carol Lee Hardin, 79, of Buckley, Michigan, died July 10, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.

Carol was born May 4, 1936, in Allegan, Michigan, to Ward and Leona (Sebright) Bond.  She married Robert Hardin on June 5, 1972.

Survivors include husband, Robert; three sons:  Mike (Kim) Landis, Patrick Landis, Mark (Terri) Hardin; three daughters:  Shelley Mull, Renee (Brian) Conklin, Kathy (Glenn) Heintzelman; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Marcelyn Royston and Sharon Webber; and her grandson, Jared Heintzelman.

Carol was a member of Wayside Chapel in Buckley where she served others in the community through the church food bank.  She was a 1954 graduate of Everett High School in Lansing, Michigan, and was homecoming football queen her junior year.  She was employed by the State of Michigan for 38 years and retired from the Department of Military Affairs.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel at 2121 North Cedar Street, Holt, Michigan. Private interment of ashes will be at Deepdale Memorial Gardens at a later date. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. www.EstesLeadley.com

We are so sorry for your loss. We still thought highly of Carol. Nothing ever changed that. Our deepest sympathy to all of the family.
You are still my nieces and nephews and always will be. Love Aunt Judy
