Dear Irmgard and family,

You have lived with such a honorable and fine gentleman, and his passing is so very sad. Remember he has loved you all, and you have precious memories of his goodness, his talent and steadfastness in his faith. I am so very sorry for your loss.

The name caught my attention, My husband’s Mother’s maiden name was Komm. She and my husband (Ronald) as is all this siblings are gone, but I wanted to reach out and tell you a story. Cousins from Germany came to visit us back in the late 80’s, Peter and Bridgette Noack. Your Aunt, Adolfine Janecke, met them at our house to translate for us as they did not speak any English at all! She was wonderful. I lost touch with her after she left the Holt area. Did not know she had a brother living so close to me, I live in Lansing, almost Holt. Near as I can figure with what I have of the family history from Germany (Thanks to Peter) we all connect through Heinrich Komm.
So sorry to hear of your loss, never easy, but I always find peace in knowing they are back with family forever,
