Bruce N. Cornelius, Jr.

Bruce Cornelius, Jr.Bruce Newman Cornelius, Jr., 64, passed away on November 18, 2022. He was born on July 11, 1958, in Lansing, Michigan. In 1976, he graduated from Holt High School.

In 2002, Bruce relocated to the Noblesville, Indiana, area. With the help of dedicated employees, who he loved like family, built a thriving utility construction company from the ground up.

When he wasn’t working, Bruce was always finding ways to have a good time. He loved spending time with his friends and family. He was the life of the party.

Bruce is preceded in death by his mother, Dolores Cornelius.

Bruce is survived by his significant other, Jackie Barton; father, Bruce (Jan) Cornelius; siblings, Threse Robinson, Mary (Karl) Houser, Brian (Robbie) Cornelius, Kevin Cornelius; children, Jason (Michelle) Cornelius, Kristina (Marty) Gardner, Lindsey (Jason) Zeller; grandchildren, Bryce, Breanna, Ellie, Nico, Brody, Hailey, Jack, Brooks, Annie, Jonathan; along with many nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

 Family will receive friends and family at Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, 2121 Cedar Street, Holt, MI 48842 on Thursday, December 1, 2022, from 4-7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to HVAF of Indiana, at 964 N Pennsylvania Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204.

Bruce was someone very special to me. We had a wonderful relationship while it lasted. I knew something was amiss, but he never said why.

I really loved him and I have always missed him. I am so sorry for all of his wonderful kids and grandkids. Family first was his priority always.

Take good care of his memory to keep him alive in your hearts!
