Bridget T. “Bri” Krohn

Bridget passed away peacefully September 16, 2023, at the age of 64 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born August 7, 1959, in Detroit, to John Lillis and Margaret Lillis (Jeffrey).  Bridget graduated from Lansing Community College with an associate degree in criminal justice and worked at Michigan State University.  She enjoyed being a mom and was proud to have raised her sons to be good, productive, and responsible people. Bridget was a parishioner at St. Thomas Aquinas in East Lansing, Michigan and was a faithful believer in the mercy and power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Bridget was an avid reader and she loved watching sports on TV, especially the MSU Spartans.

Surviving are sons: Jonathan Bradley and Adam Bradley; stepson, John Sam (Kayla) Krohn; stepdaughter, Michaela Krohn; grandchildren, John Allen Krohn, Eleanor Krohn and Nicholas Krohn; her mother, Margaret Jeffrey; brothers, Nathan (Ellen) Maher and Matthew (Cathy) Lillis; brother-in-law, Michael (Melanie) Krohn; sisters-in-law, Debbie O’Brien and Cynthia Wilke; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John Paul Krohn and her father, John Lillis Jr.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, September 21, 2023, at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, Cana, 955 Alton Rd., East Lansing, where her family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 a.m.  Private interment will take place in Maple Ridge Cemetery in Holt at a later time.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Bridget Krohn.
