Brian Ray Buchner
Lansing, Michigan. Born July 5, 1939 in Lansing, Michigan son of the late Elvin and Lucille Buchner passed away Friday, May 27, 2022 at age 82.
Brian graduated from Bath High School and following high school owned and operated his own cleaning business in Lansing. He then went to work as a Journeyman Millwright for Oldsmobile, retiring after 41 years of service. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.
Brian is survived by his children, Steven Buchner and Robin (Randy) Jobin; step-sons, Kreg (Dorothy) Gordon and Kurt (Kristi) Gordon; grandchildren, Kyle (Liane) Jobin, Kara (Chris) Thurber, Ryleigh, Andrew, Patrick and Blane Gordon; brothers, Donald (Mary) Buchner and Phillip (Joanne) Buchner along with nieces, nephews and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Barbara A. Buchner, in September of 2021 and by his son, Craig Buchner.
Visitation will be held at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel on Friday, June 3, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Following visitation there will be a graveside service at Hillside Cemetery in Delta Township at 2:30 p.m.

May 31, 2022 at 6:07 pmDear Robin, I’m so sorry for the loss of your father. I’ve told you how I loved spending time at Aunt Lucille’s and Uncle Alvin’s when I was young. Brian was always so nice to me! your grandma probably made sure of that!! Lol
He would walk me to the neighborhood store for candy and play for a while at home. He was a teenager and that was probably the last thing he wanted to do. Hugs to all of you!
