Brian Lee Dalrymple

Age 79 of Lansing, passed away July 9, 2026, in Mason, Michigan. He was born November 29, 1946, in Lansing, Michigan to the late Gerald and Lois (Bancroft) Dalrymple.

Brian was a graduate of East Lansing High School, class of 1964. Following high school, he went on to Michigan State University where he earned his degree in zoology. With his degree in zoology Brian became a biology teacher at Ida Public Schools.  On August 31, 1970, Brian was inducted into the U.S. Army where he served as a Sergeant until discharge in 1972. While in the U.S. Army he earned the National Defense Service Medal and was a Rifle Sharpshooter. Following his service in the U.S. Army Brian had a career for 17 years at Frank’s Nursery as a salesperson. In his free time Brian was an avid collector of stamps, coins and currency.

Surviving Brian are his sons Ian Dalrymple and Jacob (Jaclynn) Dalrymple, his grandchildren Zoe Dalrymple and Ethan Dalrymple. Brian also had a special friend and mentor named Corey L. Keyes, Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Gerald Dalrymple.

The services for Brian will be private. Interment will take place in Beach Cemetery, Essex Township, Michigan. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.
