Bonnie Jean Lehmann
Age 77, passed away May 13, 2018, in Lansing. She was born October 27, 1940, in Lansing to the late Maxwell and Margaret (Buchanan) Brown.
She graduated from Haslett High School in 1959. She worked many positions in the medical field in various doctor’s offices as well as a medical billing specialist.
Bonnie was a lifelong traveler, living in and visiting many places. She loved fishing, casinos, bingo, bowling, the sun, and wearing her favorite hat. She was a fantastic cook and was a hard worker, giving 100% in everything she did.
Bonnie is survived by her children, David (Debra) Lehmann, Debora Carter, and Margaret Lehmann; grandchildren, Ryan (Bre), Lauren (Jake), Matthew, Mallory (Danny), Ally (Shawn), Michelle (Don), and Christy; great-grandchildren, Audrye, Mason, Kendall, Anthony, Kameron, Jazmine, Antroy, Nivea, Kira, Walter, Markel, and Ray; great-great-grandchild, Zayden; brother, Brent (Joan) Brown; lifelong friends, Zola and Stan Olson, Judy Horstman, Judy Brown, Dean and Dawn Chick, Phil and Kay Pixley, Karen Duffrin, Mary Foess; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Lehmann, of 51 years, and her cousin, Kay Johnson.
There will be a graveside memorial service to be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11 o’clock. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.
