Betty Lou Combs
Lansing, Michigan.
Born December 4, 1942 in Lansing, Michigan daughter of the late Ray E. and Barbara J. (Merrill) Stiver passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at age 70. Betty retired last year from DLZ Engineering following 38 years of service and was an avid gardener and photographer.
Surviving are her 3 children, Michael, Stephen, and Suzanne Combs; her two grandsons, Jacob and Zachary; three siblings, Ray (Judy) Stiver, Nancy Hartley, and Linda Stiver along with many nieces, nephews and other extended family members. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Terry Stiver and her loving partner, Robert Hastings.
Funeral services will be held at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Leek Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday for one hour prior to the funeral. Those who wish may make memorial contributions, in Betty’s memory, to McLaren Hospice.
