Barbara Jean Parker
Age 86, passed away May 25, 2015. She was born January 12, 1929, in Lansing, to Lawrence and Rhea (Cates) Larner. Barbara worked as a florist in Lansing before beginning her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Norman, in 2000; sisters, Joyce Rens and Keitha Robinson. Surviving are: daughters, Carrie Parker (fiance, Daniel McDonald) and Jenny (Chad) Glisson; grandchildren, Evan (Natalie) Glisson, McKenna Glisson, and Maddie Glisson; great grandchild, Nikola; and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11082 Wilbur Hwy., Eaton Rapids, on Sunday, June 7, 2015, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lansing, Inc. in memory of Barbara Parker.
