Arlene G. Moore

Age 90, Arlene passed away September 15, 2026.  She was born November 18, 1935, in Petoskey, Michigan, to Frederick and Letha Zink.  Arlene graduated from Michigan School for the Blind and had a long career in the Stand Program through the State of Michigan.  She was a member of the American Business Women’s Association and Mayflower Congregational Church.  Arlene enjoyed bowling and singing with the choir.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Moore; and brothers, Richard and Lyle Zink.  She is survived by nieces and nephews, Michael Zink, Carla (Craig) Butwell, David (Linda) Zink, Rhonda McMichael, Debbie (Tony) Jones, Raymond (Maggie) Zink, Lyle (Fancy) Zink, John (Lori) Zink; step-children, Cindy, Cheryl, James, and Michael; as well as many great nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 21, 2026, at Mayflower Congregational Church, 2901 W. Mt. Hope Ave., Lansing, where her family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will take place in Lakeview Cemetery in Harbor Springs, Michigan, at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice or to Mayflower Congregational Church in memory of Arlene G.
