Harth Logan Williams

Age 26, of Lansing, MI, passed away June 24, 2024. He was born April 4, 1998, in Lansing, MI, to Brian and Heather Williams.

Harth loved his community of friends and teachers at Stepping Stones Montessori, in East Lansing, MI, where he attended elementary school. In 2016, he graduated from Nexus Academy.

He is survived by his parents, Brian and Heather Williams; grampa, Jerry Williams; gramma, Carol Williams; grandfather, James H. Luther II; uncle, Mark and aunt Corina Williams and uncle Adam Williams; aunt, Holly Luther Atkinson; and 12 cousins, Alicia Williams, Jon Williams, Sarah Williams, Gage Williams, Kennedy Williams, Emerson Williams, Cooper Williams, Ryder Williams, Jessie Atkinson, Jordon Atkinson, Orion Brunson, and Jayden Luther. Also, many great aunts and uncles and many good friends. Along with four cats that he cherished dearly, Jette, Sundae, Willow and Mimzie. He was preceded in death by his nana, Karen G. King (Ohmer); uncle, Jay Luther; PopPop, William Sauer; nana, Marion Sauer; great grandma, Mary Williams; great grandfather, John Williams and great grandmother Miriam Williams, great grandmother Pauline Ohmer and great grandmother Emma Jean (Jane) Luther and his great/great uncle, Bob and aunt Fran Clark, along with several close friends.

Early on, Harth was fascinated with animals and enjoyed sharing interesting & obscure facts about them to anyone who would listen. At the age of 10, he started his hobby of painting and playing with miniatures, mostly focused around the Games Workshop, realms of Warhammer 30K and 40K. To this day, he was still working on painting and assembling his Mechanicum army and his centerpiece Warhound titan.

He looked forward every year to spending time and making memories with his cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles during the annual northern summer vacation. He rode motor bikes and found peace being in nature; especially, at one of his favorite places Mt. McSauba, on Lake Michigan, with his Nana, parents and cousins.  Music played a big part in his life.  He traveled to many concerts and festivals where he made new friends wherever he went. He brought his youthful and energetic charisma to the table where he played Dungeons and Dragons with his father and friends.

He loved reading and he used his brilliant mind to research a myriad of topics such as ancient history, modern politics and a variety of cultures. He was a captivating storyteller.  His heart was soulful and caring, his humor was infectious, and he was fun-loving. He cherished his friendships, he jumped at the chance to travel and liked to discuss world-news. Now, his spirit is free, and he is peacefully with the loved ones who have gone before him.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Capital Area Humane Society, 7095 W. Grand River Ave., Lansing, MI 48906 or Charlevoix Recreation – Mt. McSauba Improvement Fund, in Charlevoix Michigan
