My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sadness. May memories of Hope bring comfort to you all at this time.
I remember Hope coming out to the farm in St. John’s to visit with family. She had a beautiful smile and a giggle one did not forget.

To the Quiroga Family there are no words I can say for our mutual loss of my dear friend. I am thankful for the time we spend together working at Baryames for all those years. She was a person who lived her faith. Always had a smile and encouraging word. Knowing where she is at brings me so much peace. I am so glad we continued to meet together after leaving Baryames. Your Mom was one special lady and we will all miss her dearly.

To the Quiroga Family : Hope was one special lady I meet her in March 1989 when I was employed into the Baryames family . When I walked into that break room for the first time all eyes were on me as a new person , not sure what to do or where to go or sit . Hope came right up to me and introduced herself to me and asked if I wanted a cup of coffee she was so kind , and she came up to me at a time I was ready to turn around and walk back out of the back door thinking I made a mistake. He kindness began at that moment and has last thought out the last 30 years or more she took me under her wings I was blessed to start out in her sept although I later move to a different Dept she stuck up for me when we worked on the floor she never let anyone pushed me around . through out the whole time we knew each other , she was strong in her faith , strong as a friend . I am so thankful that I got to have her as my friend . Once we know longer work together we would meet and have luncheon with other friends , we always kept in touch through all all the years she was a good friend she would always send me text messages they would say are you all right doing the many times I was unable to get out because of illness or surgery she would always keep in touch . I have gotten to know her children and husband and I would like to say to you all : your mom and your wife was a one of kind person I will go on thanking Jesus for bring her into my life because she will all be with me in spirit . One Blessed Lady she was . Loved her family unconditionally and her friends , thank you Hope for your friend ship , for your strong unwavering faith :I love you . Sallie

Hope was a very special lady. She would come to see me almost every month at the Treasurer’s office to pay her sewer or tax bill. I am so sorry for you loss. I just found this out today.
