Kay A. Filice

The Lord has gathered another special angel. Kay Filice (Becker), age 85, of Sebring, Florida, passed away on October 8, surrounded by loved ones.  Kay lived a life filled with love, faith, family, and friendship. She was known for her abundant kindness, sense of humor, generosity, and her overwhelming devotion to family. She had a special way of making those around her feel loved, welcomed, and important. 

 Kay is lovingly remembered by her children, Collette Filice, Joseph Filice (Ashley) of Orlando, grandchildren Anthony and Mia of Orlando, siblings, nieces and nephews, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, close friends and many other loved ones. She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony and daughter Mary Machelle. 

 The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 23 at St. Mary Cathedral, 219 Seymour Ave., Lansing, MI, followed by luncheon and then interment. Viewing will be Thursday, October 22, 5:00-7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m., at Estes- Leadley Funeral Home, 325 W. Washtenaw St., Lansing, MI.  

 Though she will be deeply missed, Kay will be remembered for the love, faith, and kindness she shared with others. She gave a piece of her heart to all she knew, and her memory will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
