Bob Gailey

Age 85, passed away on September 23, 2026. He was born on April 9, 1941, in Dansville, MI to Fred and Gaylia (Hart) Gailey.

Bob graduated from Mason High School in 1960. He was a big supporter of Boy Scouts Troop 143 throughout his life and his sons’ lives. He was a member of the Chief Okemos Sportsman’s Club in Eaton County. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, gardening, cooking, making wine and caring for people.

He is survived by his sons, Chad (Sally) Gailey and Thad (Alexis Livingston) Gailey; granddaughter, Emma (Michael Praire) Gailey; great-granddaughter, Winifred Ruth Praire; sister, Barbara Howell and numerous friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gailey; brother, Donald T. Gailey; and the mother of his children, Barbara Anne Rogers.

There will be a celebration of life Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Delhi Café, 4625 E. Willoughby Rd. #9, Holt, MI 48842. Memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scouts of America Chief Okemos Council in memory of Bob.
