Alice “Marie” Krauss

On Thursday, September 2, 2010 Alice opened her eyes and drew her last breath as she listened to the Gaithers’ “Because He Lives” and then peacefully passed away in Kalamazoo. She was born in Lansing on October 18, 1936 the daughter of the late Clifford and Evelyn (Anderson) Jenks.

Alice was a longtime member of South Church of the Nazarene and was a former employee of Telephone Alarm Systems.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Carolyn Krauss and her brother Harold Jenks. She is survived by sons Carl, Robert, Donald, Jon and their families and her brother Raymond Jenks.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at South Church of the Nazarene in Lansing. Inurnment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Share and Care Fund c/o South Church of the Nazarene.
